Jim incorporated Petra Financial Solutions in 1998. He received his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation in 1984 and his Masters in Financial Planning in 1999. Jim graduated from the University of Rochester and served in the U.S. Navy (Vietnam era). Over his 30 plus years in the financial services profession, Jim has been an Investment Advisor Representative, a Registered Principal, an adjunct professor at Wright State University, an arbitrator for the NFA, served on the Board of the Dayton FPA for many years, currently serves on the steering committee for the Caring Cetera Foundation and is the Treasurer of Dayton Rotary Foundation Board. Jim resides in Clayton, OH, with his wife Cheryl. He enjoys golfing, water sports, reading, missions work, and is an avid Buckeye football fan.
